It’s Strider on the Go!
We have a busy two months ahead of us. As if launching a new business, moving into a new office and winning an international SEO contest weren’t enough to keep us hopping, there are three SEO events coming up where Strider team members will be attending.
SES NY 2008
Jim and I are leaving this Sunday to attend SES NY, courtesy of Bruce Clay, Inc. and our contest win. Search Engine Strategies has long been the premier conference series for the internet marketing industry, and we are looking forward to cramming as much learning and networking into these four days in NYC as we can manage.
The week of April 7th-11th, we’ll be in Simi Valley, CA, attending the world-renowned SEO Toolset Advanced Certification training program. For me, this is an excellent opportunity to gain an organized and structured outlook on the knowledge I’ve assembled from working in the years before formalized SEO training was available. For Jim, I can think of no better introduction to the business of internet marketing than attending the premier education program in the business.
As an added bonus, we’ll be visiting with a group of clients in the Los Angeles area in a rare opportunity to visit their places of business.
Small Business Marketing Unleashed
This is a new, two-day conference organized by Jennifer Laycock of Search Engine Guide. With a focus on marketing practices for small businesses, this conference is right up our alley! The SMBU team is changing up the traditional conference format by making the second day a rotating series of workshops designed to enhance practical application and audience participation by dealing with issues and examples specific to those in attendance. I’m very excited about the potential for this event. The line-up of speakers is pretty impressive!
